Practicum II

SWK 471: Practicum II is the continuation of Practicum I, providing students with an opportunity to apply and deepen their social work knowledge, skills, and values in a professional setting. This course involves a 250-hour internship during the Spring semester, supervised by an MSW Practicum Instructor at the same agency where students completed their Fall semester practicum.
NOTE: The grading system for this course for all students is Pass-Fail. Concurrent enrollment in SWK 441 (Practicum Seminar II) supports the integration of classroom content with practicum experience.
Prerequisites: SWK 440 (Practicum Seminar I) Completed with a minimum grade of C and SWK 470 (Practicum I) Completed with a minimum grade of C. Practicum Evaluation for SWK 470 CO-REQUSITE: SWK 441 (Practicum Seminar II)
