Course Title

The Sociological Imagination

Catalog Description

Close analysis of exemplary sociological texts and empirical data. Genres of sociological expression examined include literature reviews, quantitative and qualitative data analyses, theoretical exegesis, research ethics and information literacy for sociology.Pre-requisite: SOC 166 or any 200-level SOC course, and a Sociology Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0 or better.
