Lehman Exchange Programs
Lehman Exchange Programs
Students participating in Lehman Exchange Programs must register at the College for a minimum of twelve study-abroad credits (STABD). Credits earned abroad will be applied toward students' degrees after evaluation by the appropriate department at Lehman. Students from all departments are invited to apply. To begin the online permit process, students must visit the Office of International Programs and Community Engagement (IPCE).
The Lehman/Sungshin University Exchange Program
The Lehman/Sungshin University Exchange Program is open to all CUNY students. Participants can choose to spend either one semester or one year studying at Sungshin University, a prestigious institution in Seoul, South Korea. The university offers courses in Korean language and culture, as well as over fifty courses across various disciplines in English. For more information, click here.
Lehman/Sugiyama University Exchange Program
The Lehman/Sugiyama University Exchange Program is open to all CUNY students. Participants can choose to spend one or two semesters studying at Sugiyama University in Nagoya, Japan. Students can enroll in courses on Japanese culture and language. A minimum of intermediate proficiency in Japanese (equivalent to three semesters) is required. For more information, click here.
Lehman/University of Montpellier Exchange Program
The Lehman/University of Montpellier Exchange Program is open to all CUNY students. Participants can choose to spend one or two semesters studying at the University of Montpellier in Montpellier, France. Students can enroll in courses across all subjects, with a specific emphasis on business courses. Courses are offered in both English and French; for French-taught courses, students must have intermediate to advanced proficiency. For more information, click here.
Lehman/Paderborn University Exchange Program
The Lehman/Paderborn University Exchange Program is open to all CUNY students. Participants can choose to spend either one semester or one year studying at Paderborn University in Paderborn, Germany. The university offers courses in Business and Economics as well as Arts and Humanities, all taught in English. For more information, click here.
Lehman/Osaka Metropolitan University (OMU) Exchange Program
The Lehman/Osaka Metropolitan University (OMU) Exchange Program is open to all CUNY students. Participants can spend the fall semester at OMU in Osaka, Japan. The university offers a Social Innovation curriculum focusing on global social issues and resolutions, including courses on Japanese culture and practices. For more information, click here.
Lehman/University of Birmingham Exchange Program
The Lehman/University of Birmingham Exchange Program is open to all CUNY students. Participants can choose to spend one or two semesters studying at the University of Birmingham in Birmingham, England. Students can enroll in courses in Arts and Law, Engineering and Physical Sciences, Life and Environmental Sciences, and Social Sciences. For more information, click here.
Lehman/Tenri University Exchange Program
The Lehman/Tenri University Exchange Program is open to all CUNY students. Participants can choose to spend either one semester or one year studying at Tenri University in Nara, Japan. Students can enroll in courses across all subjects, with a focus on Arts and Humanities. There is no language requirement, as many courses are offered in English. Additionally, students can enroll in courses on Japanese culture and language. For more information, click here.
Lehman/Nanyang Polytechnic Exchange Program
The Lehman/Nanyang Polytechnic Exchange Program is open to all CUNY students. Participants can choose to spend one or two semesters studying at Nanyang Polytechnic in Singapore. Students can enroll in courses in Business, Marketing, Accounting, Communications, Sports & Exercise Science, Media, and more. Courses are conducted in English.
