Advanced Imaging Labs
The Art Department has established three advanced imaging labs in the Fine Arts building. One lab (in Fine Arts, Room 047) contains twenty up-to-date Mac Studio workstations, a new Canon MF743Cdw Color All-In-One Laser Printer, access to 20 Wacom Tablets for Animation students, as well as a Stop Motion Animation Studio with 5 workstations equipped with cameras, lights, tripods, and additional accessories. A second lab (in Fine Arts, Room 006) also contains twenty up-to-date Mac Studio workstations and a Canon MF743Cdw Color All-In-One Laser Printer. The third lab (in Fine Arts, Room 004) is dedicated to advanced students and faculty, equipped with several Mac Studio workstations, an iMac Pro, a Wacom Display tablet, an Epson Stylus Pro 9880 Large Format Printer, an Ultimaker 3D printer, a Monoprice Maker Select Plus 3D Printer, a Shining3D EinScan 3D Scanner, and a new Alienware Laptop. These instructional labs allow students to learn and practice skills in digital imaging, graphic design, web page design, digital and stop-motion animation, advanced 3-D modeling and animation, digital photography, and various other multimedia design disciplines.
