Intermediate Chinese I

An intermediate course designed for students with some previous knowledge of Chinese language and culture. It aims at continuing developing students’ communicative skills in Chinese language and broadening their comprehension of Chinese culture. The four skills to be reinforced with stress still on listening and speaking. Major sentence patterns of Chinese grammar are emphasized while continue learning to read and write in Chinese characters.PREREQ: CHI 112 or Department permission.
