Description

Techniques of physical and paleontologic correlation of rock sequences. Application of these techniques to basin analysis and construction of the geologic time scale. Modern classic and carbonate sedimentary environments, physical and chemical principles of sedimentation and paleoenvironmental analysis. Emphasis on the evolution of and search for water and hydrocarbon resources.PREREQ: GEO 167 and GEO 244.
