Design, collection and analysis of qualitative data in sociological research. Topics include participant observation, in-depth interviewing, biographical methods, content analysis, archival research, photovoice methodology, and ethnographic research. Students will focus on some of these methodological approaches.Pre-requisite: SOC 166 or any 200-level SOC course.
