Use of data to analyze issues, evaluate arguments, test hypotheses, draw conclusions and make decisions. Considers the role of chance and systematic bias in the production of data. Exploration of concepts such as experimental and statistical control and the simultaneous consideration of multiple variables. Prerequisites: Completion of College Math Requirement or MAT 128 or MAT 328, and PHI 169 or a 200 level Sociology course, or Department Permission
