Science and Music in Childhood Settings-Grades 1-6

Exploration of the ways young children develop science and music literacy in grades 1-6. Application of assessment and instructional strategies, and media and technology in an integrated curriculum.PREREQ: Successful completion of Requirements for Professional Coursework (see the preceding information). Note: Requires visits to early childhood and childhood settings with diverse populations and contrasting social and economic environments and the development of an academic portfolio. No student can receive credit for both ECE 433 and DEC 433.
