Exploration of the musical literature appropriate for children in this age group. Development of the ability to learn new songs independently and to transcribe simple original melodies. Methods and materials of instruction in a program, including singing, playing, dancing, listening, music reading, creating, and the use of instruments. Students will participate in supervised field experiences.PREREQ: Either BBE 301, ECE 301, or 321. Note: No student may receive credit for both ECE 444 and ECE 443.
