The Jewish community in Visigothic, Muslim, and christan Spain; the social, economic, and religious life of the Jews, with emphasis on the Muslim-Jewish symbiosis in the arts and sciences during the "Godlen Age." the decline of jewish life in Spain, the disputations, the Inquisition, Marrano problems, and expulsion. The Sephardic Diaspora in the Mediterranean world will be studied in some detail.
