Policy and the Judiciary

The judicial system as part of the US policy making process. Analyzes federal and state judicial systems in terms of – input (judicial recruitment, judicial policymaking, and relations between national and state court systems); - implementation (relation to other national and state policy makers and problems of compliance with court decisions); and – challenges (problems facing the US judicial system and prospects for change).Prerequisite: POL 166.
