Comparative aspects of cellular and organ physiology, the evolutionary basis for development of homeostatic mechanisms, and structure-function correlation within the animal kingdom. Laboratory work includes the use of modern techniques to elucidate and illustrate the principles discussed in the lectures.Prereq BIO 166 and BIO 167 and two BIO courses 200 level or above (not BIO 230) and CHE 234 and CHE 235.
