Description

Physical principles applied to physiology, circulation, respiration. Atomic and nuclear physics applications to imaging, therapy, radiation protection, dosimetry. Medical applications of accelerator beams: electrons, protons, heavy ions, Doppler and pulse-echo ultrasonic measurements. Feedback networks and neural systems. Instrumentation.PREREQ: PHY 166 and 167 or PHY 168 and 169, or the equivalent (including courses in anatomy and physiology), with Departmental approval.
